ReplyDeleteHi I'm Resa Kirchhevel - I'm the VP of Student Impact at Junior Achievement of South Dakota. I've worked with JA for 19 years - recruiting and equipping volunteers to go into K-12 classrooms to teach students about work readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. Although I'm not a classroom teacher, I keep up my teaching certificate as it helps me in a variety of ways. I'm excited for this book study as I'm hopeful the content will help me as I manage my team and projects at work as well as at home.

ReplyDeleteMy name is Hannah Decker. I have been a stay-at-home mom for the last 4 years, so I have not been actively teaching in quite a while. I have 2 wonderful sons - a 4 year old and a 1 year old. Prior to staying home, I taught middle school social studies for 4 years in Newell, SD. I am working on earning credits to renew my teaching license, as I may return to teaching in the future. For now, I enjoy teaching my son preschool at home! I chose this study because I love that it will be applicable to many areas of life. I am excited to get started!

My wife and I are the proud parents of six, ranging in age from 14 to 26. I am a voracious reader, enjoy cooking, and like to camp. Although, of late, we have transitioned into more cabining than tenting.

I enjoy readiing and learning more about my profession, which is why I am taking a couple classes this summer. I have three boys, two of which are home from college for the summer, and a high school junior. They are all working their summer jobs this summer or in their bedrooms most of the time...lol. I also enjoy doing summer DIY projects that I don't have time for during the school year.

ReplyDeleteI have been teaching summer school this month, but in my spare time, I like to garden, and then cook and make fresh bounty. My children also enjoy this and have put forward their ‘orders’ for canned veggies and meals when they are back at school this fall/winter.
